Meet the Dental Staff

Laurie

I'm a dental hygienist, educating our patients about optimum oral health and providing excellent dental care for my patients. I like to build relationships with my patients while I care for them, no matter the procedure. I want the patients' visits to be professional but still filled with thoughtful conversation and teaching.

I have a wonderful husband named Mike. Between us we have four great teenagers, Caleb, Keenan, Tatum, and Haleigh. We also have a cool cat named Riley! On my down time, which seems to be limited these days, I love to read, take walks, hike, and garden in the summer. I'm married to a local pastor and I am at our church helping with activities often.

Karan

I'm a dental hygienist for Dr. Art, and I perform oral health care assessments, help maintain my patients' smiles, and educate them on good oral health. I greatly enjoy my job because I get to help people and build wonderful relationships with them. I am happy to work with a dentist whose work is superior. He has an infectious laugh and sense of humor.

I have a husband, KC, two daughters, and a dog. In my free time I enjoy gardening, water skiing, reading, biking, home improvement, and traveling.

Sara

I am Dr. Art's financial coordinator, taking care of patient accounts, insurance, and scheduling appointments. I like to greet each patient with a smile! Seeing a new face everyday is a perk, especially because I grew up in this town and I often see people I know from outside the office. Our team loves to laugh and have fun, both in and out of the office.

My husband's name is Levi and we have a son, Tanner, two cats, and a dog. In my free time I enjoy volleyball, softball, scrap booking, and reading. I am also a coach for Premier Volleyball Club.

Dayna

I am the patient coordinator for Dr. Missirlian. I love meeting and getting to know new people and being in this office has given me that opportunity. I get to greet all of our patients with a smile and great attitude when they walk in the door. I enjoy knowing that we are helping people feel better on a daily basis. Eventually I hope to be behind the scenes and be more hands on with the procedures that we do in the office. 

In my free time I enjoy playing and coaching volleyball around the area. I love spending time with my family, especially my niece and nephew they bring a lot of joy to my life! I also like to travel and would love to eventually see the world. Time with my friends is one of my favorite things, they always seem to make me laugh no matter how bad the day may seem!

Christine

I am a Dental Assistant for Dr. Missirlian.  I assist him chair side, sterilize rooms and instruments, and educate the patients on treatment and dental needs.  I enjoy making patients feel at ease in the dental chair and showing them that dentistry can be fun too.  Working for a Dr. Missirlian allows me to be the happy go lucky individual that I am and I love the impeccable work he does and the way he treats every patient like a person and not just another tooth walking in the door; it’s like family around here. 

My husband’s name is Craig and we have a 2 year old little boy named Cody.  We love the outdoors and our dogs, Riley and Murphy.  Anytime spent in the mountains is a refreshing day for us and makes all of life’s challenges not so hard.

Amanda

I am Dr. Missirlian's dental assistant. I do plenty of chair-side duties but my favorite duty of all is keeping my co-workers on their toes. I love dentistry and like to keep it that way by making sure no one is taking things too seriously and still taking time to laugh and have fun. I love working with Dr. Missirlian and his staff because they are the best at what they do, and I'm not just saying that.
